Cambodia Trip

In March, students, teachers and RW family members visited Cambodia for yet another incredible experience. It was hotter. than usual, but that didn't get in the way of a lot of fun!

Teacher Training

Once again the talented mentor teachers from Caring for Cambodia came to the village of Tbaung Damrei to share their expertise with teachers from our schools and neighboring schools. So thankful for this connection!

Cambodian New Year

On April 25, folks in Ridgewood celebrated the Cambodian New Year! A great opportunity to learn about Cambodian customs, and games and enjoy delicious food! Thank you Van Imm for always making time to be with us

Arn Chorn Pond

On October 17 - Arn Chorn Pond, Cambodian Humanitarian, Founder of Cambodia Living Arts, and survivor of the Cambodian Genocide visited RHS, Willard Elementary, and the Ridgewood Public Library to share his story and inspiration for a better world.

Steel Wheel Fundraiser Nov. 30

On November 30, Steel Wheel Tavern hosted a fabulous fundraiser for the RCP - Great food, an amazing turnout, and fun games led to a very successful evening! Thank you Steel Wheel for your generosity!

Valentine's Day Kits

To help celebrate Valentine's Day  - the Ridge and Willard Cambodid Clubs had a Smore Love for Cambodia Fundraiser. With help from the RHS Cambodia Club, they created and sold over 200 kits!!

Welcome to the Ridgewood Cambodia Project

The Cambodia Rural School Project began in 2007 in three Ridgewood, New Jersey schools. It was conceived as a student-driven program to fund construction of a school in a rural Cambodian village and nurture ongoing, cross-cultural relationships. The concept was brought to the Ridgewood, New Jersey school district by two parents and the district approved the project
